Stock 08 STI fuel pump and DW750cc injectors

I found some specs (don't know how accurate they are) about the 08 STI fuel pump and wondered if the Walbro pump is necessary for the 750cc injectors.
Could the stock pump handle the increased output needed for e85 conversion?
If I have to get the Walbro in there I going to have to take a dremmel to the inside of the pump housing and get creative. The new pump won't fit.
Here are the specs for the fuel pump from the 04-07 STI compared to the 08 STI:
2006 STI:
Shutoff pressure: 65.27 - 98.2 PSI
Flow: More then 145 lt/h at 12Vs at 43.5PSI.
2008 STI:
Shutoff pressure: 130.5 PSI or less.
Flow: More then 175 lt/h at 12Vs at 43.5PSI.
So, it appears the stock fuel pump is a bit better then before.
The 2008 WRX is spec'd at
Shutoff pressure: 79.8 - 123.3 PSI
Flow: More then 155 lt/h at 12Vs at 43.5PSI.
I guess this means the 08 WRX pump is better then the older STI stock pump.
Could I be in luck here???
My injectors are burning a whole in my desk and are feeling quite lonely. They miss real action!
Please tell me I can stay with the stock pump and be SAFE!!!

Hmm interesting. I have never seen that before.
The only thing that I dont understand is this:
Shutoff pressure: 130.5 PSI
or less.
Flow:
More then
175 lt/h at 12Vs at 43.5PSI.
?
130.5 or less? So could it be 40psi? That is less that 130.5?
My answer to you is yes you probably can get away with it. What we can do is just log IDC and we can make a safe assumption based on what the IDC's are getting to.
I think you will be just fine with it to be honest. We can tune until it is maxing out and then figure it out from there. Either way you will be making more power than you are now lol.
Let me know when you get the exhaust in and lets get that thing on the dyno!!
